You can upgrade ANY Analog Shell 2.x version to any newer Analog Shell 2.x version using the easy steps described below. When performing this upgrade Analog Shell 2 will keep all settings you have made with your old version.

1. Step Ensure that you have Analog Shell version 2.x This will not work with any version of Analog Shell 1.x.
Howto: Start the program. At the splash screen you should see version 2.x.x. You can also enter the program and look at Help/ About Analog Shell.
2. Step From the Start menu choose Settings and there open the Control Panel.
3. Step Start the Add/ Remove Programs item from control panel.
4. Step Select A-Soft Analog Shell 2 and click remove.
5. Step Download the new Analog Shell 2 version from the A-Soft Technologies homepage.
6. Step Uncompress the downloaded .zip file. This could be done using WinZIP
7. Step Doubleclick on the installation file (named Analog Shell 2.x.x.MSI)
8. Step At the installation path choose the same path as your old Analog Shell installation.
Note: This step is only neccesary if you did not use the recommended path for the first setup.
9. Step Enjoy your new Analog Shell version. All settings you made with your old version will be automatically used.
